How It Happened
Eli Harris began the game with a layup before the Gulls rolled off 11 straight points for a nine-point lead. Despite being down, the Hawks managed to come back and make it a one-point game halfway into the opening half (12-13).
The game remained within one possession until late in the first half, with Endicott slowly extending the lead late. In the final three minutes of the period, the Gulls turned their two-point edge into a nine-point halftime lead (37-29).
A 7-2 run to open the second half brought the Gulls' lead to 14. From there, the Hawks struggled to make a comeback, falling behind by 21 halfway through the second. RWU was able to make it an eight-point game with just over three minutes remaining but come not come any closer.
