MINNEOLA, FL. – The Roger Williams University Softball team got their fourth win of the season today against Bridgewater State University 5-4. They also suffered a loss from Pennsylvania State Du Bois 2-5.

How It Happened
In the bottom of the first, BSU scored two runs to take an early lead. Two innings later, Jenny Heller (Chicopee, Mass.) hit an RBI double to put the Bears up three. It was 4-0 by the fourth inning when Mulcahy crossed the plate. The Hawks responded with three RBI singles to put them within reach. In the bottom of the seventh, with two outs, Tar. Chatowsky hit a blooper to score teammate Provencal to tie the game. Lombardo was soon up to bat and hit a single through the left side to win the game 5-4. Hawk's pitcher Myers recorded her first win of the year only recording one hit, zero runs, and zero walks.

How It Happened
In the bottom of the second inning, Brooke Harvey (Stillwater, PA) singled up the middle bringing teammate Satterlee home for the Lions. They struck again in the bottom of the fourth when Mulhollen hit an RBI single to center field to give them a 2-0 lead.
Ellie Fleming (Marshfield, Mass.) doubled to left center in the top of the fifth to start things off for the Hawks. Maclean brought her home from an RBI single to left field followed by a run off of an error to tie the game 2-2. The Lions answered scoring three runs in the bottom of the fifth to secure the win 5-2.
