How It Happened
Ella Waryas (Foxboro, Mass.) gave Roger Williams an early 1-0 lead three minutes in, knocking in a rebounded shot from Gaffney to put RWU up quickly.

The Hawks one-goal lead remained through the rest of the quarter until Cenatiempo knocked in back-to-back goals for the Hawks in a two-minute span shortly into the second quarter. Her first score came in 1:21 into the quarter with Gaffney sending a long pass into the middle of the box to find Cenatiempo for the score. A minute later, she would put in another shot off a Hunter Phillips (Schuylerville, N.Y.) pass underneath the goalie on the left side to make it 3-0 Hawks.

Holding a three-goal halftime lead, the Hawks would continue the scoring in the third quarter. Cenatiempo would complete the hat trick four minutes into the third quarter, connecting on another pass from Gaffney to make it 4-0 Roger Williams.

In the fourth quarter, the Gaffney-to-Cenatiempo connection would come through again, as Gaffney sent a quick touch pass to Cenatiempo for the wide-open score. Her fourth tally of the game tied for the program record for most goals in a game, with Cenatiempo also scoring four goals back in October 2018 against Nichols. She is now one goal away from tying the program record for career goals.

Cara Goudie (Wenham, Mass.) would prevent the Hawks from getting the shutout with a penalty stroke score with just under two minutes left to play. However, Roger Williams would still come away with the win.
