BIDDEFORD, Maine – For the second consecutive week, Ryan Shea (Andover, Mass.) of the Roger Williams University Men's Cross Country team was awarded Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week honors for the week of October 11^th through October 17^th, as it was announced by the conference offices on Monday. Shea takes home the honor after placing sixth overall and second among CCC runners at the Western New England Invitational over the weekend.
 
A week after receiving both the CCC Runner and Rookie of the Week awards, Shea received the latter for the second straight week after posting an 8K time of 27:26.4. Along the way, he helped the Hawks claim a second-place team finish at the WNE Invitational which was good for the best placing by the program in a race with at least ten teams competing since RWU took first in that same race in 2014.
