"The women had great wins in doubles by Alessia Cahoon (Dedham, Mass.) and Heidi Martin Heidi Martin (Scituate, Mass.) as well as Liv Santoro (Cheshire, Conn.) and Kate Hardy (Southington, Conn.), two freshman who got their first wins in a Hawk uniform. Singles were a battle, Emma Place (Francestown, N.H.) and Cahoon started out strong with wins and Tania Gianisos (Old Saybrook, Conn.) finished the battle with a victory."-Barry Gorman
