MacLean and Beaulieu had a pair of RBI singles that led to a new ball game by the time the seventh rolled around. In the third, Predaris scored her first collegiate homerun over the left field fence and Lombardo hit her second double of the day earning two. Salve scored an additional run in the fifth but couldn't produce any more runs as the Hawks clinched the 9-2 win.

Coaches Corner
"In game one we let the fifth inning get away from us to the tune of five runs to fall behind 2-6. It was great to see the team's grit to fight back and take game onen with some clutch hitting and a 7th inning huge leadoff double by Kat and the winning hit by Bay to walk it off. We got production up and down the lineup and Taylor continued to stifle Salve as she pitched two and a third of shutout ball. Game two we kept roping the ball putting nine runs on the board. Lia pitched well and Kat and Alex crushed the ball. Maddie hit a bomb for her first career homerun. The energy was amazing.  The lightening delay didn't affect us. The team stayed loose. We had a lot of fun playing softball today. Looking ahead to Suffolk this weekend for a cross pod matchup."-Joyce Maudie

Players Corner
"Great day for the Hawks. Winning a close game by walk off. Then putting our bats together to come up big in game two. We hope to continue our big bats into the games this weekend."-Katrina Goria
