BEVERLY, Mass. – The Roger Williams University Men's Golf team concluded the 2021 season with a fourth-place finish at the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship.

Ben DeFelice (Warwick, R.I.) began the tournament with a strong Day 1 performance. His first-round score of 74 put him in second place, one stroke behind Colby Mitchell of Nichols. On day two, his round would not be as stellar, as he shot an 83 and finished in a tie for sixth place.
Ben Brodeur (Whitinsville, Mass.) opened the championship with a first-round score of 78, putting him in a tie for 12
th. On the second day, he would finish with an 82 and concluding the championship still tied for 12
th.
Burke Howell (Beverly, Mass.) also performed well on the first day of play. His day one score of 77 would put him in a four-way tie for eighth place. On day two, Howell finished with an 84 to come in a tie for 14
th.
Terry Baker (Fiskdale, Mass.) was RWU's fourth finisher in the tournament, shooting an 82 on Sunday to tie for 24
th going into Monday. On the second day, his final round of 87 would leave him tied for 27
th overall.
Owen Wallace (Natick, Mass.) concluded the RWU performance at the championship, as his two-day scores of 87 and 89 tied him for 33
rd overall.
Western New England claimed the CCC Championship while Nick Grimbilas of Endicott won the individual title, finishing at +7 on the two days.
