Curry responded with Jordan Perzan's homerun to left center in the third but the Hawks produced two more when Katrina Goria hit a single to center field. Curry's defense had some trouble that resulted an additional three runs for the Hawks putting them ahead 7-3. Emma MaClean claimed her fourth hit of the day to plate teammate Jax Beaulieu (Sandwich, Mass.) and in the fourth and final inning, RWU tallied three more to clinch the second game 11-3.

Coaches Corner
"What a great bounce back from a tough one run loss last night. The team came out with great energy and determination. Our pitchers Lia and Taylor used the zone really well with Taylor and Bay calling great games.  I loved the run support on the day as we executed well at the plate and scored in most of our offensive opportunities, stringing together multiple tallies in several innings. I like the progress I'm seeing on both sides of the ball. We get a much needed day off for Easter and we will see Curry again on Wednesday for another conference doubleheader." –Joyce Maudie

Players Corner
"Today's double header really showed what our team can do, from on the field to the dugout. The energy and enthusiasm from every person lead to the outcomes of the games. I am really happy with the adjustments that were made from yesterday's game and I can't wait to continue this into more conference play!" –Sydney Provencal

What's Next
Roger Williams (9-7) and Curry College (3-7) match up once more on April 7th at 2:30 and 4:30pm.
