BRISTOL, R.I. — The Roger Williams Women's Tennis team logged its third straight win with a 9-0 victory over Salve Regina University

Alessia Cahoon (Dedham, Mass.) and
Heidi Martin (Scituate, Mass.) kicked off the match with an 8-2 win over Sailor Nordstrom (New Bedford, Mass.) and Ellysa Tancrede (Chepachet, R.I.) at #1. Shortly after,
Morgan Crimmins (Boston, Mass.) and
Emma Place (Francestown, N.H.) came away with an 8-4 win over Casey Farrell (Cumberland, R.I.) and Annemarie Haas (Whitinsville, Mass.) at #2.
Tanya Gianitsos (Old Saybrook, Conn.) and
Olivia Santoro (Cheshire, Conn.) completed the doubles sweep after defeating Isabella Basic (Trumbull, Conn.) and Graysen Scherer (Mystic, Conn.) 8-0 at #3.
At singles play, Place won her match 6-0, 6-3 over Nordstrom at #1 while Gianitsos came home with the 6-1, 6-0 win at #6 against Rachael Tyner (Athens, N.Y.). Cahoon and Farrell battled at #2, with Farrell taking the opening set 6-3, Yet Cahoon would take the next two sets 6-3 and 10-6.
Alexa DiCesare (Norwood, Mass.) stepped into play at #4 singles and rolled to a 6-3, 6-2 win over Tancrede. Martin was able to outlast Haas 6-2, 6-4 at #3 and Santoro downed Scherer 6-2, 6-1 at #5.
