Men's Tennis Wins CCC Championship After Perfect Season

BRISTOL, R.I. — The Roger Williams Men's Tennis team won the CCC Championship against Wentworth Institute of Technology 5-1 on Saturday afternoon!
 
Hawk Highlights
During doubles play, #3's Tyler Cain (Montpelier, Vt.) and Nick Cristante (North Haven, Conn.) finished first recording the 8-1 win. #1's Jon Trevethan (Berlin, Conn.) and Dan Tocco (East Quogue, N.Y.) defeated opponents Daniel Gallegos (Monterrey, Mexico) and Kevin Salomon (West Newton, Mass.) 8-4.
 
Up 2-1 and heading into singles, Trevethan took the early 6-0, 6-0 victory followed by Arlex Correa (Lynnfield, Mass.) who triumphed Tristan Maus (Mansfield, Mass.) 6-1, 6-1. Tocco clinched the championship with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Tyler Hall (Framingham, Mass.).
