How It Happened
There was not much going on throughout in this one. The first half was even in many respects as each squad fired three shots in the period. The Hawks got both of their shots on goal in the frame while Keene State had one but there was no scoring to speak of.
Keene State took command in the second half of play. The Owls managed ten shots in the half with three on net, but
Jack Avellar (Orleans, Mass.) turned them away. The Hawks on the other hand got just a single shot.
In the overtime frames the Owls had the only two shots with one on frame but nothing changed resulting in a 0-0 draw.
Despite the lack of action in terms of scoring, there were three cards distributed in the game, all of them to Keene State.
