Geno Kennedy (Duxbury, Mass.) fed a pass to freshman
Jimmy Keane (Easton, Mass.) who chipped a shot from inside the attacking box and into the net to give RWU a 2-1 advantage.
Hobart tied the game again before the half in the 42

The Statesmen nearly grabbed the lead before halftime on a shot into the top right corner of the net by Nick Kriak (West Orange, N.J.). However, it was waved off for not beating the clock.
Regardless, Roger Williams snatched the lead back quickly in the second half in the 47
th minute. This time it was Beltran's turn to feed a pass to Bagley who blasted a shot past Guillermo Castaneda Chang (Guatemala City, Guatemala) to give the Hawks the lead.
