Bristol, R.I. — The Roger Williams University no. 2 women's tennis team fell to no. 3 Nichols in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament Semifinals, 5-0.
 
In doubles play, the duo of Izzy Pecora (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) and Olivia Santoro (Cheshire, Conn.) dropped their match, 8-1. Emma Place (Francestown, N.H.) and Alessia Cahoon (Dedham, Mass.) finished their doubles match next, falling 8-2. Finally, Gianna Ferraro (Westerly, R.I.) and Gracie McCarthy (Marion, Mass.) fell to the Nichols duo of Tiffany Lucart and Sophia Leonardi, 8-3.
 
Ferraro dropped her match to Charis Vogler, 6-2, 6-1, and Place fell to Antonia Carrero, 6-1, 6-1, to decide the outcome of the match.
 
Roger Williams (12-2, 6-1 CCC) have concluded their fall season.
