BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University women's soccer team was unable to defeat Wesleyan Tuesday evening on Bayside Field, falling to the Cardinal 4-0, in the rain.

Coco Marrelli (Fairfield, Conn.) made eight saves in the match.
The Cardinals Audrey Lavey was the first on the scoreboard, after receiving a corner kick from Lily Jebejian, she gave one touch and fired across net intot he goal. Jebejian then scored 5:30 later giving the Cardinals a 2-0 lead.
In the second half Grace Devanny found Dani Milovanov running down the sideline on a through ball that Milovanov then struck on at the 53:53 mark of the match. Lavey then scored 48 seconds later, as Wesleyan took a 4-0 lead.
Roger Williams (5-7, 2-1 CCC) will be on the road Thursday, Oct. 6 against UMass Dartmouth, the Hawks will the round out the week at Wentworth on Saturady, Oct. 8 at 12 pm.
