CCC RELEASE

BIDDEFORD, Maine – Roger Williams University men's cross country runner Nathan Tassey (Whitman, Mass.) has received, for the fourth time, Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, winning both Runner and Rookie of the Week honors.

Tassey's first-ever CCC Championship, held on Saturday, was a noteworthy one as the freshman bested the field with an 8K time of 25:58. As the top-finisher in the Championship meet, Tassey was awarded the gold medal. His time, which was 40 seconds faster than his closest competitor, also helped the Hawks capture their second-straight CCC title.

The Roger Williams cross country team will shift its focus on the NCAA Division III Mideast Regionals being held on Saturday, Nov 12^th.
