MILTON, Mass. – Eli Harris (Falmouth, Mass.) scored a career-high 39 points to help the Roger Williams University Men's Basketball team defeat Curry College 79-56 Thursday evening. Harris' 39 points is the highest scoring output for RWU Men's Basketball since Austin Coene '19 dropped 38 against Wentworth Institute of Technology on March 1, 2019.

How It Happened
Drew Hart (Cheshire, Conn.) scored first for the Hawks, followed by a three-pointer by Jonathan Joel. After Harris hit a layup on the other end, the Hawks maintained a one-possession lead over the following eight minutes.
With Roger Williams holding a 17-15 lead, RWU would go on an 11-0 run, with Harris responsible for nine after scoring seven and handing out an assist to Hart. The Hawks would hold a 28-15 advantage and forced a Curry timeout.
Over the remainder of the half, Roger Williams led by as many as 19 and their advantage would not dip below ten. Thanks to Harris' 23 first-half points, the Hawks went into halftime with a 41-27 lead.
RWU came out the gate on first in the first three minutes of the second half, as RWU hit four of their first five shots to extend the advantage to 21 (51-30). Five straight points by Harris later gave RWU a 59-32 lead with 13:16 left in the game, while another Harris trey gave the Hawks their largest point margin of the game, making it 71-38 with 6:33 to go. In all, Harris would tally 16 of RWU's 29 second-half points, allowing RWU to ease to the win.
