ORLANDO, Fla. — The Roger Williams Women's Tennis team concluded its spring break trip Thursday afternoon, dropping a 1-8 match to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
 
Hawk Highlights
The Hawks faltered in all three doubles matches on the day. RWU's lone win came at #3 singles, where Gianna Ferraro (Westerly, R.I.) bested Hannah Riegle in three sets. Ferraro fell 4-6 in the opening set before tying the match with a 6-3 win in the second set. In the superbreaker, Ferraro came out on top with the 10-8 victory.
 
Olivia Santoro (Cheshire, Conn.) had a chance to collect the Hawks' second win of the day in her #6 singles match against Susi Hu. Santoro dropped the opening set 4-6, but came back to take the second set 7-5. Unfortunately for Santoro, Hu claimed the deciding set 10-8.
