NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Roger Williams University women's cross country team placed 13^th out of a 39-team field at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday.
 
Caitlin Boufford (Londonderry, N.H.) finished the 5k race in 19:01.4, her best time ever in a 5k, before Adriana Franzese (Shelton, Conn.) closed out her race just 22.9 seconds later.  The Hawks Kaitlin Flaherty (West Hartford, Conn.) added points as the third Roger Williams runner to cross the finish line with a time of 19:31.3 averaging a mile pace of 6:17.0.
 
Amanda Naylor closed her day finishing with a time of 20:02.2, before Carolyn Narahara (Reading, Mass.) and Leah Whearty (Walpole, Mass.) finished the race in within five seconds of each other before Addie Cook (Park Ridge, Ill.) closed out the scoring for Roger Williams with a time of 21:34.6.
 
Roger Williams will travel to the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State on Saturday, Oct. 8.
