CCC RELEASE

BIDDEFORD, Maine – Freshman Nathan Tassey (Whitman, Mass.) was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Runner of the Week, while also receiving CCC Rookie of the Week honors in men's cross country. 
 
Tassey finished the Suffolk Short Course Classic in 16:11.6, pacing CCC athletes with a mile average of 5:12.7, completing the race as the first CCC student-athlete to cross the finish line.
 
Tassey, in his first collegiate race, finished the 5k event placing 17th.
 
The Roger Williams men's cross country team will be back in action on Saturday, Sept. 10 when they visit University of New England for the Ron Ouellette Invitational.
