WENHAM, Mass. - The Roger Williams University men's soccer team faced Gordon College on Wednesday at the Brigham Athletic Complex, playing the Fighting Scots to a 1-1 draw during a closely contested match.

Roger Williams opened up the scoring in the second period with a team goal just after a corner kick taken by Jason Salley (Durham, Conn.) bounced around the box in front of the Fighting Scots net, and was eventually knocked in by the Gordon defender.

With just two minutes left in the match Benji Wright scored for the Lions, assisted by Luke Lindas, evening out the score. Roger Williams registered 14 shots on goal while Gordan took 10. Hogan Cain (Nottingham, N.H.) had five saves throughout the match.

Roger Williams (5-4-7, 3-1-2) will host Wentworth on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 3:00 pm for the Hawks' Senior Day at Bayside Field on Homecoming and Family Weekend. They will then host Suffolk on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 7:00 pm.
