BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University field hockey team took down Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) opponent Nichols on Saturday, Oct. 7 defeating the Bison, 6-0.
The Hawks out shot the Bison 31-3 in the match, with the Hawks posting 18 shots on target. Roger Williams also had 16 penalty corners in the match to the Bison's one.
Chelsea King (Schenectady, N.Y.) had a hat trick on the matchup pushing her to 17 goals on the season. King's hat trick breaks

Meanwhile
Kelly Doherty (Mansfield, Mass.) accounted for three points with a goal and an assist.
Lauren Costanzo (North Andover, Mass.) and
Lily Tobin (Sandwich, Mass.) both finished off their nights with goals of their own.
Roger Williams (10-2, 3-0 CCC) will hit the road to face UMass Dartmouth on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 7:00 pm. The Hawks will follow up by traveling to University of New England in a CCC match on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 12:00 pm.
