NORTON, Mass. - The Roger Williams University men's soccer team fell to Wheaton in a non-conference matchup Sunday afternoon, 2-0, at Keefe Field in Norton, Mass.

The Hawks got outshot 14-9 with Wheaton also edging out the Hawks in shots on goal, 6-2, and corners, 3-2.

Hogan Cain (Nottingham, N.H.) played the entire duration of the match in goal for the Hawks accumulating four saves. CJ Sousa (Fall River, Mass.) led the way for the Hawks in shots with three, followed closely by John Fogarty (Scituate, Mass.) and Will Schiffer (Cotuit, Mass.) who both had two.

Wheaton shot the ball nine times in the first half, being denied a goal every time, while Roger Williams shot the ball four times also ending up scoreless; leaving the halftime score 0-0.
In the second half, Avery Dinham put one in the back of the net for Wheaton in the 63^rd minute, followed by Baden McLaughlin scoring again for Wheaton in the 80^th minute.

Roger Williams (3-4-6, 1-1-1 CCC) will play at Nichols College, to start a long stretch of conference matchups, on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at 3:00 pm. The Hawks will then finish their season, only facing off against CCC opponents, starting with UNE on Saturday, Oct. 14.
