DAVENPORT, Fla. – The Roger Williams University baseball team fell to #11 Rowan, 11-1, on Thursday at Northeast Regional Park.
Rowan scored two in the first inning before adding another run in the second inning. After being held scoreless through the opening four inning Roger Williams tacked a run on with
Aidan Hawley (Natick, Mass.) drawing a walk with the bases loaded bringing in
Owen Hibbard (Roxbury, Conn.).
In the bottom half of the fifth inning the Profs added five runs too take a commanding lead before adding one in the sixth inning and a pair of runs in the seventh.
Roger Williams (1-6, 0-0 CCC) will face William Paterson in a doubleheader on Friday, Mar. 17 at 2:30 pm, before wrapping up their trip to Florida with a Saturday, Mar. 18 matchup against UW-Stevens Point.
