DUDLEY, Mass. – The Roger Williams University men's tennis team was able to upset No. 1 Nichols on Saturday in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship match, falling to the Bison, 5-0.
The Bison took the No. 2 doubles match, 8-3, before grabbing the No. 1 doubles match for an 8-4 win. The Hawks were unable to pick up a point falling 8-4 in No. 3 doubles.
In singles play, Yannick De Vet earned a point for Nichols, before Leon Zeis took his match at No. 2 singles 6-3, 6-2.
Roger Williams closes out their season 16-3 with a 7-1 record in CCC action.
