BRISTOL, R.I – The Roger Williams University men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with Clark on Sunday afternoon on Bayside Field.
 
Roger Williams had 11 shots in the contest, but the Cougars were able to put two shots on net to the Hawks one. Roger Williams had five corner kicks with four coming in the first half.
 
Just 46 seconds into the match, Liam Blaisdell (Plymouth, Mass.) finished on a cross by Tommy Bowen (Manchester, Mass.) giving the Hawks the early lead.
 
After the halftime break, Clark fired a ball into the box, that the Hawks were unable to clear.  The defender hit the ball over the top of the goalkeeper, Hogan Cain (Nottingham, N.H.), who tallied two saves in the contest.
 
The Hawks and Cougars battled to a scoreless draw for the remaining 41 minutes.
 
Roger Williams (2-1-2, 0-0-0 CCC) will host MIT on Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 1:00 PM before hosting University of Hartford on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 12:00 PM.
