TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Nathan Tassey (Whitman, Mass.) finished fourth, while
Dylan Beggins (Bay Shore, N.Y.) finished 168
th at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country National Championships.
Tassey earned his second All-American recognition in the sport of cross country. Tassey began his race finishing his opening 1K with a time of 2:43.6, landing in 68
th. The Hawks top runner then hit his 2K split with a time of 4:43.5. Tassey moved up slowly throughout the race, building from 68
th to open the race to fourth, after climbing two spots over the final 1.5K. Tassey finished the race in 24:08.9, while Christian Patzka of Wisconsin Whitewater took the top spot with 24:01.6.
Beggins posted a final time of 25:35.2 finishing in 168
th. Beggins opened the race in 174
th after the first 1K, Beggins completed his opening half of the race in 12:31.1, with Beggins finished his second half of the race in 13:04.1.
The Hawks close out their season with their second All-American in program history.
