BEVERLY, Mass. — The Roger Williams University men's cross-country team was recognized for its accomplishments throughout the 2026 season as the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its annual postseason awards and All-Conference selections.
Leading the way for the Hawks was senior captain Nathan Evans (Lincoln, R.I.), who was named the CNE Men's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Roger Williams also had three runners recognized with All-CNE honors, including sophomore Cole Walker (Cumberland, R.I.) on the Second Team and seniors Kyle Tarpy (Haverhill, Mass.) and Harrison Krause (Glastonbury, Conn.) on the Third Team.

On the course, Evans provided steady leadership for the Hawks throughout the season. He opened the year with a 10th-place overall finish before following it up with an eighth-place showing at the James Earley Invitational on October 10. Evans capped off his conference championship performance with a 17th-place finish at the CNE Championships.
