BEVERLY, MASS.- The Roger Williams University men's soccer team traveled to Endicott on Wednesday, facing off against them in the Conference of New England (CNE) semi-final matchup, defeating them in overtime, 3-2.

The Hawks took 18 shots throughout the duration of the match, placing seven of these on frame. For the Gulls, we saw 10 shots and five shots on goal. For corner kick opportunities, the Hawks had nine chances compared to the Gulls' five for the game.

In the first half, the Hawks came out offensively strong, attempting 10 of their shots for the game. Just before the 39th minute, senior
Jason Salley (Durham, Conn.) scored for the Hawks off of a corner kick taken by senior
Tommy Bowen (Manchester, Mass.).

Shortly into the second half of the match, the Gulls equalized with a header goal from Konrad Krysztoforski just before the 60th minute. Less than five minutes later, the Gulls gained the lead with a header goal from Tiago Frazao. With the clock ticking down and just four minutes left in the match, sophomore
Dylan Robbins (Johnston, R.I.) found the back of the net for the Hawks for a last-minute equalizer with a header goal, his first of the season.

With a 2-2 tie, the Hawks and the Gulls enter overtime play, in this case the team with the next goal wins the match. Just four minutes into the first half of overtime, the Hawks had a cross into the box, by senior
John Fogarty (Scituate, Mass.), that failed to be cleared by the Gulls' defense, bouncing right to sophomore
Dylan Thomas (Norwalk, Conn.) for a right-foot volley to the top of the net.

The Roger Williams men's soccer team's season will now continue on to their third straight finals appearance on Saturday at 12:00PM against Suffolk at East Boston Memorial Park in Boston, Mass.
