Mitchell struck first, scoring a run in the top of the second with a bases loaded walk. In the third, they would tack on two more with an RBI double and a error, allowing a run to score. In the fifth Mitchell, added a fourth run with another bases loaded walk, being disciplined at the plate, drawing eight in the game.

In the bottom half of the inning, Roger Williams erupted for four runs, beginning with a single by Uryga down the right field line. With Uryga on second, Williams hit a single to right, to cut the deficit to four.

In game two, Kiera Quadros pitched a complete game, shutting down the Mariner offense, holding them to one run, unearned, and striking out seven.
