Box Score HARTFORD, CONN. - The Roger Williams men's soccer team fell to Hartford University on the road in their second CNE matchup of the season. The loss leaves the men at 1-1 in conference play.
In the first half, the Hawks were able to fire off five shots to Hartford's three, however Hartford was able to cash in on their few attempts. At the 24-minute mark, Kellijah Morgan drew first blood for the opponent, on a feed from Nicholas Castrovinci. Despite Roger Williams good looks, they were unable to cash in as Hartford headed into the half with a 1-0 lead.
The second half consisted of more looks for Roger Williams, as they once again outshot the opponent, this time to the extent of 11 to 5, however they still failed to put the ball in the back of the net. At the 59-minute mark, Nicholas Castrovinci once again found Kellijah Morgan for their second connection of the game, putting the match out of reach 2-0.

Dylan Thomas (Norwalk, Conn.) led the unit with six shots in the matchup, three of which landed on goal. Kellijah Morgan and Nicholas Castrovinci were the standouts for Hartford, as Morgan netted both goals on feeds from Castrovinci.
The Hawks (6-3-1) (1-1 CNE) will look to bounce back on Tuesday, Oct. 1 against WPI on Bayside in non-conference action. As for Hartford (6-1-1) (1-1 CNE), they will remain at home in a non-conference battle against Trinity College on Monday, Sep. 30.
