MILTON, Mass. – The Roger Williams University Men's Soccer team downed Curry 2-1 on Tuesday evening taking down the Colonels, 2-1, on Walter M. Katz Field in Conference of New England (CNE) play.

Roger Williams struck first in the 15th minute when Louis Hawkins netted his first goal of the season, finishing a feed from Tyler Jastrab and Dylan Robbins. The Colonels scored six minutes later as Kaden Puglia converted to even the match at 1–1.

In the second half, Roger Williams regained the lead in the 52nd minute when Brandon Rodriguez scored off assists from Robbins and Ollie Hamilton, which proved to be the game-winner.

The Hawks dominated the stat sheet, outshooting Curry 24–6 and earning a 9–4 advantage in corner kicks. Robbins recorded two assists and was among ten different Hawks to register a shot on goal.

Goalkeeper Eliot Panaccione earned the win with one save, while Curry's Justin Ritz turned away seven shots in a strong performance.

Curry (3-10-2 , 0-7 CNE) will host Maine Fort Kent on Friday, Oct. 17 or Homecoming and Senior Day.f

Roger Williams (10-0-4, 5-0-1 CNE) ranked 25th in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division III poll, will host Hartford on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 3:00 pm. The Hawks will then host Gordon on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 7:00 pm.
