BRISTOL, R.I. – Head Men's Ice Hockey Coach Chris Hall has finalized the roster for the upcoming 2025-26 Inaugural NCAA Ice Hockey Roster, a roster holding 33 members on the roster.

The Hawks finalized roster will include players from 18 stats and four countries, with the roster including four players with NCAA Division III Hockey experience. The Hawk's roster consists seven non-NCAA leagues.

"Our forward group is deep and competitive," spoke Hall. "With a healthy mix of size speed, skill, and grit, it will be a tough group to play against as they all bring something different to the table."

The group consists of 19 forwards, along with 10 defensemen and four goaltenders.

"Our defensemen skate well and move the puck effectively, helping our transition and adding a dangerous element to our offensive game. In our own end, they can bring size and some sandpaper, promising to make us tough to play against."

The goaltending unit also brings a strong pedigree, featuring experience from multiple junior leagues.

"Our goaltenders bring a wealth of experience from all levels of junior hockey," said Hall. "They each have shown the ability to stop the puck and compete for the starting job. Our depth in this position will be a boost to our team all season long."

The Hawks will bring in some NCAA experience with senior forward Jason Tynan (Vernon Hills, Ill.) transferring in from Lebanon Valley and junior defenseman Max Chagovets (Carlsbad, Calif.) coming from in-state Johnson & Wales.

"This group is chomping at the bit to get going," Hall said. "They are very enthusiastic about building a program and they continue to improve each and every day. I'm proud to announce this group of young men as the first NCAA roster at Roger Williams University and I cant' wait to get the season started."

The Hawks will hit the ice for the first time in game action on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 5:00 pm and will host UMass Dartmouth for their regular season opener on Friday, Oct. 31 at 7:00 pm in Driscoll Arena.
