BRISTOL, R.I. – Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Amanda Magee '10 has announced the captains for the 2026 season for Roger Williams University, naming Margo Tenney (Braintree, Mass.), Jamie Anthony (Somers, Conn.), Grace Rocheleau (West Hartford, Conn.), and Lauren Canata (West Springfield, Mass.).

"Our captains represent the heart of our program," said Magee. "They lead by example, bring our team together, and embody what it means to compete with purpose. Each of them has earned the respect of their teammates through their consistency, character, and commitment to our culture. I'm confident their leadership will set the tone for what's going to be an exciting season."

Tenney tallied 15 goals last season for the Hawks, picking up 12 assists. She has had 21 ground balls throughout her career with six caused turnovers. Tenney has a shot on goal percentage of .775 for her collegiate career.

Anthony was the team leader in ground balls last season with 38, while also having 14 caused turnovers on the season. A junior, Anthony has played in a total of 25 games with 24 starts. Last year, she had 16 points as a midfielder with 10 goals and six assists.

Rocheleau led the team last year in caused turnovers with 18, while picking up 22 ground balls. A senior, Rocheleau has played in 42 games and has started in 32 of them.

Rounding out the captains is senior Canata. Canata played in 13 games for the Hawks in 2025, tallying six goals, six ground balls, and seven caused turnovers.
