WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The Roger Williams University Women's Volleyball team swept Hartford, 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-22), on Wednesday night in Conference of New England (CNE) play. With the win, the Hawks move to 14-10 overall and 8-1 in CNE play.

Roger Williams attacked early, claiming the first set 25-17. RWU limited Hartford to a .032 attack percentage in set one before holding them to 0.0 in set two, taking the frame 25-17. The third set was just as dominate for RWU, as they sealed the sweep with a 25-22 win.

Emma Bosco (North Andover, Mass) orchestrated the offense, pairing 30 assists with eight digs and a service ace. Kaylee Jackson (Naugatuck, Conn.) led the team in kills with 12, while Brianna Picchietti (Batavia, Ill.) and Angela West (Riverview, Fla.) each tallied seven kills apiece.

Jackson tallied 10 digs on the night, while Bosco and Marianna Hernandez (Norwalk, Conn.) each had eight digs on the night. As a team, Roger Williams had 39 kills and recorded seven service aces to Hartford's three.

Roger Williams (14–10, 8–1 CNE) will look to keep their momentum rolling on Saturday, Nov. 8 when they host Western New England in conference play to round out the regular season.
