BEVERLY, Mass. – The Roger Williams University Men's Basketball team saw
Mac Annus and
Finn Miller named to All-Conference teams as announced by the Conference of New England (CNE) office on Thursday.
Annus earned First Team honors after finishing second in the league in scoring average, scoring 20.2 points per game on the year, while pulling down 3.7 rebounds per contest and dishing out 1.8 assists per game. Annus shot 53.4 percent from the floor, with 46.8 percent of his shots from beyond the arc dropping, while converting his free throws at an 87.2 percent clip. Annus completes his collegiate career after scoring 1,853 points, finishing third all-time in RWU history. This marks his second season on the All-Conference First Team. Miller also has 28 steals and four blocks on the season.
Miller lands a spot on the All-CNE Third Team, earning All-Conference honors for the first time in his collegiate career. Miller shot .500 from the floor on the season, knocking down just under 30 percent of his shots from three point range. Miller pulled down 171 rebounds on the season, ranking 10
th in the CNE. Miller also dished out 3.4 assists per game ranking 10
th in the category, while also finishing seventh inn steals per game with 1.4 per contest and a total of 38 on the season.
Also being recognized was senior
Sean Gogolin who was named to the league's Community Service Team. Gogolin has been a vocal representative for the RWU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and has also worked with Team Impact during his time at Roger Williams.
Roger Williams finished the season in the CNE Tournament Semifinals falling to eventual champion Western New England. The Hawks were the No. 4 seed in the tournament posting an 18-9 record on the season and closing conference play with a 12-6 record.
