Club Men's Volleyball: RWU Sweeps Weekend to Third Place Conference Finish, Punches Ticket to Regionals

BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Men's Volleyball team went 4-0 over the weekend, as the Hawks clinched a berth to Regionals.
 
Roger Williams (8-6) went unbeaten on Sunday as they swept all four of their matches on the day. Against Maine, the Hawks took the match 2-0 (25-20, 25-21) before downing Coast Guard 2-0 (25-12, 25-11). Roger Williams then rounded out their home tournament with a win over Providence 2-0 (25-14, 25-19) before closing out the day with a tightly contested match over WPI, 2-0 (26-24, 25-22).
 
With the 4-0 day, the Hawks clinched a third-place finish in the New England Collegiate Volleyball League (NECVL) Division 2 East league, finishing behind URI and WPI. This is the second straight regional appearance for the Men's Club Volleyball team after breaking a decade-long drought between appearances last season.
