BEVERLY, Mass. — #3/4 Endicott overwhelmed Roger Williams, 15-0, in a seven-inning victory Sunday afternoon at North Field behind a dominant start from Charlie Hale and an explosive offensive showing in Conference of New England (CNE) play.
Hale (9-1) tossed a complete-game two-hitter, striking out six and walking two over seven shutout innings. He faced just 25 batters while the Gulls (29-3, 13-0 CNE)) continued their unbeaten run through league play.
Roger Williams (12-18, 5-8 CNE) struggled to get offensive production at the plate, managing singles from Ty Cali and Nick Sheehan but leaving four runners on base.
Endicott took control early, scoring once in the second before erupting for five runs in the third inning, highlighted by a three-run homer from Robbie Wladkowski. The Gulls added four more in the fourth, capped by back-to-back home runs from Joey Frammartino and John Mulready, and piled on five additional runs in the fifth.
Kyle Grabowski also homered and drove in three, while AJ Hamm chipped in with a pair of hits and an RBI. Danny MacDougall reached base four times, scoring three runs and stealing two bases.
Lucas Lariviere (0-3) suffered the loss for Roger Williams, surrendering nine runs (eight earned) on five hits and four walks over 3.1 innings.
