BEVERLY, Mass. — Roger Williams University men's cross country senior captain Nathan Evans (Lincoln, R.I.) has been named the Conference of New England (CNE) Runner of the Week for the second time this season, following another strong performance on the course.
Evans recently led the Hawks at their latest meet, placing eighth overall in the 8K with a time of 26:13.8 at the James Earley Invitational, hosted by Westfield State University. The senior captain's performance helped lead the way for Roger Williams and earned him his second CNE Runner of the Week selection.
The honor marks another recognition for Evans, who has continued to lead the Hawks during his senior season. His latest award highlights his consistency and impact as one of the team's top performers.

Evans and the Hawks will compete in the Homecoming 5K Road Race on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m. in Bristol, R.I., as part of Homecoming and Family Weekend.
