BRISTOL, R.I. – Three members of the Roger Williams University men's cross country and track & field program have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, recognizing their combined athletic and academic excellence.

Senior Eli Labell (South Hamilton, Mass.), senior Kyle Tarpy (Haverhill, Mass.) and junior Nathan Evans (Lincoln, R.I.) each received the honor for the Hawks.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District recognition, NCAA Division III track & field and cross country student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average while meeting one of the organization's athletic performance standards. Eligible nominees must either finish among the top 50 individuals at their NCAA Cross Country Regional Championship or rank among the top 50 in their region in an individual event during the indoor or outdoor track and field season.

Labell, a Finance major, earned recognition after ranking 19th in the NCAA Division III Mideast Region in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a season-best time of 9:48.22 during the outdoor season.

Tarpy, a Finance major, also qualified through the 3,000-meter steeplechase, posting a season-best 9:48.22 to rank 19th in the Mideast Region while competing for the Hawks during the cross country, indoor and outdoor track seasons.

Evans, a Construction Management major, met the CSC criteria after recording a time of 9:46.87 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, ranking 18th in the NCAA Division III Mideast Region. He also placed 31st individually at the NCAA Mideast Regional Cross Country Championships and competed in the 1,500-meter and 5,000-meter runs during the outdoor season.
