Matthew Fawcett is a professional hockey coach, player, and development specialist with experience across youth, junior, and collegiate levels. He is the co-founder and operator of 401 Hockey Development in Rhode Island, providing skill-building programs, summer camps, and competitive team opportunities for players of all ages.
Fawcett serves as Head Coach, Assistant General Manager, and Co-Skills Director for the Providence Capitals (EHL), overseeing player development, team operations, recruitment, and season-long training programs.
A standout collegiate player, Fawcett started his college playing career at Quinnipiac University before transferring to University of Maine to finish his undergraduate. He then finished his collegiate career at Salve Regina as a graduate student. Prior to his collegiate career, Fawcett also played in the BCHL for the Powell River Kings and USHL for the Sioux City Musketeers.
Fawcett holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Maine and is pursuing an MBA at Salve Regina University.
