Mo Raissi joined the Roger Williams University Tennis coaching staff in 2019.
He holds USPTA/USPTR certification and in past years assisted with the coaching staff at URI, Bryant, Brown, the International Tennis Hall of Fame, and private clubs in Rhode Island. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the USTA-Rhode Island and also serves on the USTA-New England board as state liaison for Rhode Island. He has experience assisting and coaching at the IMG Academy and also in the new USTA National Center in Orlando.
Raissi has also been a certified USTA official for the past four years and continues to work in different capacities for ATP and WTA tournaments in the summers. He also founded and administers the Rhode Island junior high school tennis league comprised of 13 public and private schools in the state.
His experience with sports started at a young age, playing junior pro-soccer teams in UK-MC, and then playing four years of college soccer at URI with two years of tennis. He has two boys that play for Division I tennis teams and enjoys immensely to work with tennis enthusiasts on and off the court.
Raissi is a faculty member at Roger Williams University in the school of Management Science/Economics.
