Jamie Rhodes joined the Roger Williams University Women's Soccer team in the summer of 2025.
Jamie Rhodes brings extensive experience as both a coach and a goalkeeper, with a career spanning the collegiate, club, and academy levels. Most recently, she served as the Goalkeeper and Assistant Coach for the Coast Guard Academy women's soccer program (2023–2025). During her tenure, she helped guide the Bears to back-to-back NEWMAC Tournament appearances, while overseeing goalkeeper development that produced consistent statistical improvements, including a 1.54 goals-against average, a .782 save percentage, and five shutouts during the 2024 season.
As a player, Rhodes competed at the highest levels of youth and collegiate soccer. She was a standout at Glenelg High School (Md.), earning All-State Girls Soccer Co-Player of the Year honors in 1998 and leading her team to the first state championship in school history. She went on to play collegiately at the University of Rhode Island, where she helped the Rams capture their first-ever Atlantic 10 Championship and NCAA Tournament berth in 2002. That same season, she was named to the All-American Northeast Region Second Team and earned Atlantic-10 All-Conference recognition. Beyond college, Rhodes continued her career in the Rhode Island Women's Soccer League and with the Rhode Island Reds FC of the NPSL.
Her foundation in goalkeeping began at the Umbro Goalkeeper Academy, the Maryland Olympic Development Program, and SoccerPlus Goalkeeper School, where she competed in some of the nation's most prestigious youth tournaments, including the WAGS Tournament, Raleigh Showcase, and USYS Northeast Regionals.
Rhodes earned her bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Rhode Island, where she was a four-year scholarship athlete and a key member of the women's soccer program.
