Max Burns joined the Roger Williams University Women's Soccer Program ahead of the 2025 campaign.
Burns brings over a decade of coaching and leadership experience at the collegiate and academy levels. Most recently, he served as an Assistant Coach at Stonehill College (NCAA Division I), where he worked primarily with attacking players. During his tenure, the offense flourished, recording the most goals in their Division I history. His player development efforts guided multiple standouts to postseason honors, including NEC Conference Player of the Year Hannah Anselmo and several All-Conference and All-Region selections.
In addition to his collegiate coaching background, Burns is the Girls Elite Teams Director for Seacoast United Massachusetts, where he oversees program management, staff development, and player education across the region. He has also held senior leadership roles with Liverpool FC International Academy Southern New England, serving as Southeast Regional Director and National Academy Girls Director. In that role, he managed over 20 teams, developed players through the Liverpool FC curriculum, led international coaching trips, and oversaw coach education and accreditation.
Burns holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Sports Marketing from Liverpool Hope University and multiple coaching certifications.
