Sophomore Cross Country runner Mitch Leveille (North Kingston, R.I.) has been named the RWU Male Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Bryant University Invitational Race. Leveille led RWU in the competitive meet featuring four Division I opponents.

The 5K event included 6 teams and 87 runners. Leveille finished in 22nd place finishing with a time of 17:20.49. He had an excellent year in his rookie season for the Hawks earning TCCC Rookie of the Year honors, and will look to continue his success throughout this season. Leveille and the Hawks will host their first of three home meets this season next Saturday in annual Roger Williams Invitational.
