BRISTOL, R.I. - Sophomore Bianca Rom (Amityville, N.Y.) has been selected as this week’s RWU FemaleAthlete of the Week. Rom, along with sophomore Cameron Pimentel (Paget, Bermuda) led the way for the Hawks at The Smith Trophy regatta held at MIT this past weekend.

The two finished with a score of 39 in the A division, good for a first place finish in the division. Rom and Pimentel’s performance helped the Hawks earn 2^nd place out the large 26-team field in the regatta. The duo finished with six first place finishes and two second place finishes.

The sailing team will be busy next weekend, taking part in six regattas, including the Roger Williams Invitational.
