The Lyons quickly came back with seven straight points, and turned an eight-point deficit into a three-point lead, closing out the half on an 18-8 run.
In the second half, RWU took a brief 38-37 lead on a layup by Travis O'Dell (Brunswick, Maine) before Wheaton took off on a 14-4 run, marked by eight Hawk turnovers. RWU would go on to commit 15 total giveaways in the half en route to being outscored 23-40 in the period.
