BRISTOL, R.I. – Roger Williams University Junior Taylor Petruccelli (Stratford, Conn.) of the Men's Basketball team has been named RWU Male Athlete of the Week for his outstanding work over the past week.  Last Tuesday he made great contributions as the Hawks defeated Connecticut College, and put in another strong individual effort as they were defeated by Rhode Island College on Saturday.

In the Men's last game before Thanksgiving, the Hawks played host to Conn. College who they were able to beat by a final of 76-59.  Petruccelli scored eight points and grabbed seven rebounds in the win.  The following game this past Saturday was at Rhode Island College where the Men's team suffered their first loss of the season, 84-59 at the hands of the Anchormen.  Petruccelli led the Hawks offensively with 24 points, 10 rebounds in a losing effort.

Petruccelli and the rest of the Men's Basketball team will be at home against Salve Regina this Tuesday at 8:00 p.m.
