BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Men's Tennis team moved to 2-0 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference with a 7-2 win over Gordon College Saturday afternoon.

Brad Bolte (Augusta, N.J.) earned his fourth straight win at #1 singles with a straight-set 6-0, 6-0 win over Gary Gaudio. Also winning his fourth straight singles match was Dan Kleitz (Wethersfield, Conn.), who took his third flight match over Carl Quinion by an identical 6-0, 6-0 score.

Suraj Pyla (Edison, N.J.) got his first win of the season, pairing up with Jeffrey Agonia (Lincoln, R.I.) for an 8-3 victory over Gaudio and Michael Larson in #1 doubles.

Eric Musser had the lone singles win for Gordon, defeating Kyle Baker (Bolton, Conn.) 7-5, 0-6, 10-7 in the fourth flight. Quinion and Evan Williamson also picked up a win for the Fighting Scots with an 8-5 decision over #David Lange# (Great Neck, N.Y.) and Kevin Erikson (Tolland, Conn.) in #2 doubles.

Roger Williams (7-6, 2-0 TCCC) travels down the road to take on local rival Salve Regina University Wednesday at 3:30 p.m., while Gordon (2-7, 0-2 TCCC) will be at American International College Monday at 3:30 p.m.
