BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Men's Tennis team achieved its first perfect match of the season with a 9-0 win over Western New England College Wednesday afternoon.

Kyle Baker (Bolton, Conn.) won both his singles and doubles matches on the day, defeating Alex Boutin and Jason Lee in #2 doubles 8-3 with Brad Bolte (Augusta, N.J.). He then took on JonPaul Ouellte in the sixth singles flight, getting the 6-3, 6-1 victory.

Bolte, Ryan Kim (Port Washington, N.Y.), and Dan Kleitz (Wethersfield, Conn.) each picked up their tenth singles win of the season. Bolte took his #1 match 7-5, 6-2 over Boutin, Kim defeated Relihan 3-6, 6-0, 10-1 in the second flight, and Kleitz's 6-0, 6-0 win came against Steve Genovese in fifth singles.

Kim and Jeffrey Agonia (Lincoln, R.I.) earned their third doubles win of the season as a pair, going 8-2 over Ouellte and Genovese. Also picking up wins for the Hawks were Jeff DeNunzio (Barrington, R.I.) 6-1, 6-0 over Mike Jones in third singles and David Lange (Great Neck, N.Y.) 6-4, 6-2 against Jason Lee in fourth singles.

Roger Williams (10-6, 5-0 TCCC) will play at Wentworth Institute of Technology Thursday at 3:30 p.m., while Western New England (7-5, 4-3 TCCC) hosts Colby-Sawyer College Thursday at 4:00 p.m.
