Springfield, Mass. – The RWU Wrestling team placed sixth Sunday in the New England Wrestling Association Team Dual Tournament at Springfield College in Springfield, Mass. The Hawks finished with a 2-2 record on the day, defeating Western New England College and Southern Maine, while falling to Springfield College and Wesleyan University. Top-seeded Williams College defeated Johnson & Wales to win the championship.
RWU began the day as the sixth seed, facing No. 11 WNEC in their first match of the day. The Hawks advanced in the Championship Bracket with a 33-16 victory.
